Finished the Lancouver mascot, Bare with the color because it's a T-shirt version Located Here.

I started another image in painter, which was at first just going to be a DeviantART ID of myself. However it has now turned into a massive Painter 9 project.. which I will most likely be spending 60+ hours on, IF I don't get sick of it before then.. I used a reference for the face.. kind of.. Well a mirror, because this was going to be a self portrait. Anyway, This is going to take a while... The only thing really defined right now is part of her face. The background will stay simple.. but the rest of her will not.. You'll see as more progress goes on. ^^

I keep starting to many things, I'm never going to get my site up like this =_=

Ok, first of all... soo sooo sorry for not going to the artist meeting =_= it seems I told everyone to go and didn't end up going myself.. due to the fact that I was staying at Cas' house for three days and left my sketchbook at home, plus didn't have a ton of money other then for the uprising transit fees.. and I would die if I went all the way out to metrotown in the freezing cold and count buy anything to eat x.X ...plus the fact that I had about 7 hours sleep because I was up late getting my ass kicked in Halo2 and "trying" to watch the extended version of LOTR... jesus, it seems like the first move in the set is about twice as long =_=

Anywhoo~ ..tomorrow... photoshoot. As much as I'm for art and photography of me going into a gallery in... uhh.. *can't recall where because it isn't in Vancouver* but I'm really really not looking forward to getting up at 9am to trample around in a skit and heels in freezing cold weather and ice.. oh did I mention I don't usually wear heels and already have a problem with ice?

Out of curiosty, who is actually planning on going to the artist meet on the 8th at metrotown? Blah, I'm to lazy to transit most of the time and would like to know who exactly is planning on going, otherwise its not really worth the transit out there.. considering all of 5 people showed up last time? Let me know if you can.

Also, I think I should just post a "I am a dead journal" ...notice or something.. this livejournal is about to become more neglected.. I just got a contract for concept art about a game I can't tell anyone about.. due to the contract and all = / ..I think (still needs to read the whole thing over)
Plus, a good lead in a job as a colorist for a comic book.. (not for sure if I have this one yet.. but I have good odds from the client) and a commission that is about to take me 30+ hours of work =_= I will be dead for the next little while.. but I will also have a new tablet in a few days :D

Voting systems suck = / I've entered a contest and put far to many hours into the vector peice behind the cut, to find out the winner of this contest is going to be picked via voting system on a site a whole bunch of goth girls frequent most likey... considering my entry is nowhere near dark I imagine few people have actually clicked on the thumbnail to see the ammount of detail I have put into the image. So if you feel like I diserve the hard work please help vote for me >_< ..not likely I'm going to win at this rate anyway.. considering he number of livejournal friends I have.. but thanks.

I also need to move out of this house as fast as humanly possible.. you have no idea how intolerable it is to have a room your mother needs to walk though in order to get to hers. She seems content on barging in here literally every 10 minutes today to...

Bah, DeviantART is really pissing me off.. I submit some cutesy cat boy bishonen and get 29 comments, 18 favorites.. then I submit a photomanipulation which I think is decent (except the minor errors I need to fix) and get a whole 3 comments.. one of them being "that's weird.." Yes, I love anime and don't intend to bash it.. but it as an art style is starting to piss me off as of late. Well.. mostly just deviantart is making me so biased about it. bah.. anyway the photo manipulation.. I will post more art soon.. but it's almost 3am and I need to do dishes.. so I don't have time to scan things and transfer other things over from the Mac to the PC. More news to come.. Still dating Cas.. as you guys have probably guessed from my absence of Live Journal.

Wow, I'm actually dating someone who isn't an asshole or has a low inteligence. ^^

...I shouldn't be awake.. its 4am.. and sorry for more LiveJournal Neglect = /

Ok.. I'm neglecting Live Journal again, however I have once again got into doing concept art for an "MMORPBBRTSG" ...I think we managed to make the title longer before.. jokingly of course. The game will actually be more like a cross of Sim City and StarCraft.. very Startreck and Ghost in the shell inspired as far as my side of it goes.

Anyway, as most of the team members live in North Vancouver we decided to hold a meeting at a Coffee house on Lonsdale. As planned we talked about the game for about an hour and a half, then decided the plan was to split up to get some dinner, then meet at a sushi restaurant and walk to my house. So the two programmers (Cas, and Noel) who rode bikes to the meeting went down to the sushi restaurant early to pre order the take out. And I stayed with Scott (The lead developer) and George (the 3D artist) for a few minutes in McDonalds away from the pouring rain, the headed off on my own towards Kansai Sushi to pay for my food. On the way down in miserable rain and wind I saw an ambulance pull up a block down the street. Thinking nothing, as this is merely Vancouver and it happens all the time.

I get up to the cross walk where the ambulance is parked to shockingly see Cas waving me over towards it. At this point a already know what he's going to say, - From observing how stupid Noel was on a bike.. and the fact that this kid already mentioned something about having bad breaks, no helmet on, the sun setting, and pouring rain. - Noel was hit by a car. After hearing he was more along the lines of nudged but a tuning car and went skidding into it with rain and faulty breaks, and no major injuries were done.. the matter was actually quite amusing. Considering an ambulance, two large fire trucks, and a police car show up.. for pretty much a few scratches and burses. Understandable, because Cas thought Noel may have broken a collar bone from his collision.. however the paramedics examined him and he was fine.

Very productive meeting.. Then the cop questioned Cas and Noel for about two hours. So after getting soaked from the rain, and eating cold Japanese food at my house we weren't exactly in the mood for the meeting.

So my CSS works in IE and not firefox... damn the times for changing and me with my love of firefox! I need to change with the times and learn XML too.... sleep is also needed. As my eyes are apparently telling me..

I missed this wonderful feeling of being high on CSS, HTML, hard trance, caffeine and early morning hours. Weeeee... I need to get back into webdesign = / ..I mean come on, I just got $20 US from doing less then 5 mintues of vector work in photoshop.

You know, I really really need to start writing my ideas down the moment they pop into my head. A few days ago I came up with at least three awesome titles to artwork I have in mind, along with decent character/world/city names for the world of my artwork. I usually always tell myself make a note about things awesome things I think of, however if there so spectacular then I can surely remember them another day.


...apparently that doesn't matter = / ..as I have forgotten these wonderful words my mind managed to create for a split second.

If you've noticed, I rarely title my Livejournal entries.. or artwork for that matter. So I really need to start writing these things down = / any great idea for artwork will stay in my head all the time. Words and titles on the other hand do not.

After talking to my agent and a few clients from Paris this afternoon I headed over to park royal with my brother to find EB didn't carry Chrono Cross. I phoned nearly every place in North Vancouver too TT.TT I'm thinking about an emulator.. however does anyone know how much RAM a PSOne emu would need.. or what kind of graphics card I would need. >_< (I highly doubt my machine is capable or running one)

It's rather ammusing, two days ago I couldn't wait for Saturday august 28th, however apparently my lack of sleep and constant disturbances while attempting to sleep were great for foreshadowing the events which were to take place after this disheartened nights rest.

The first sign of disorganization came to me when getting to metrotown station. Considering when a mass ammount people decide to gather in one spot, and only wait for ten minutes - there is bound to be chaos regarding the people left behind. Shortly after we reached or destined location, only to be hit by pooring rain. I was able to observe more un organization of the deranged people who prepared this event. Who the hell decided to have this bbq at 11am, with a schoolgirl theme, when the weather forecast of this week has been completely evident thus far?

Regardless, wandering around back and forth for a few hours was not the ideal BBQ I had in mind. ..Moreso, getting into the car alone wasn't something I had in mind either, however I did say things would change today.

Also, if anyone has any knowledge of where I can get my hands on a copy of Chrono Cross within vancouver (or rent because I'm broke =_=) please tell me.. The majority of the video stores I searched today only carry PS2 games now. For Chrono Cross is like a comfort food to me TT.TT
